Gnome

Physical Description

Gnomes are tiny humanoids with large bright eyes and fur-like tufts of hair in the place of normal eye brows.  They're lean creatures with soft often cute features. It wouldn't be hard to mistake a Gnome for a small animal if encountered in the wild.

  • Height - Female: 1'6"-3'2" Male: 1'8"-2'4"

  • Weight - Female: 15-20 lbs Male: 20-30 lbs

  • Size - Small

  • Skin Tone - Tones vary from near white to dark brown.

  • Hair - Gnome hair is very fur like in nature and is generally longest at their brow.  Hair color is generally stark white, brown, or black.

  • Eye Color - Varying shades of bright green and yellow.

  • Lifespan - Gnomes can live to be up to 40 years old.

Culture - Gnomish culture is brilliant and eccentric. They fill their tiny cities with gaudy and shiny decoration to try and relieve their ever present boredom. Due to their vast intellect gnomes have an insatiable curiosity for all things unknown. This combination of intelligence, boredom, and curiosity has led the tiny creatures to make breakthroughs in the areas of creation and magic that far surpass all the other races. As the Gnomes delved deeper into these unknown realms of magic and science it permeated their culture and became an integral part of their society. Rituals and repetition are the norm in a Gnomes life, allowing them to focus their ever wandering and inquisitive minds.
